Detail of topography texture (embossing version 1)
Near Final Globe, detail

Hi, Josh! Here is the near-final globe, with 4 different versions of the embossing. It's pretty difficult to see the differences in the embossing treatment in the small versions (even to me, they look nearly identical!). So I'd recommend looking at the zoomed in images instead for the detail...it's easier to see there.

I was able to use the layered 3-D globe file to an extent, but not as a simple multiplied layer...the shading on the globe was way too dark and really disturbed the light look we're going for. So I did use it as a limited overlay, and also used it as a guideline on where to place the topographical wrinkles that I've integrated more fully here. I've included a detail of the wrinkles at the bottom of the page.

Let me know what you think!
